It's difficult for the Australian squad to achieve unprecedented feats.

The greatest achievements have been successfully scaled.

This is the squad that has secured seven Cricket World Cups, along with another six T20 titles, and previously enjoyed 1,294 days without defeat in 50-over cricket.

The secondary achievements, targeted by the peak baggers, are the only things left for a team that has won it all.

That it took until Sunday's victory by three wickets over India for them to complete their first ODI chase over 300, reclaiming their record for the biggest in women's cricket's 50-over format, is, frankly, a testament to the bowling attack that have represented Australia over five decades.

It's difficult for their batsmen to maintain a record if not provided the possibility.

Ultimately, the consequence of Australia conceding 330 was skipper Alyssa Healy being given an opportunity to produce her most recent brilliance.

Originally famous as the teenage relative of celebrated previous Aussie wicketkeeper Ian, she first played in 2010 after Australia didn't secure either of the 20 or 50-over World Cups conducted earlier and has witnessed all through 15 trophy-laden years since.

Success in the T20 World Cup happened three months after her bow and seven global championships have resulted from 10 tries across formats.

The tough gloveman was in attendance in Derby in 2017 when a semi-final setback by India temporarily stopped the run of success.

That loss "motivated us to reevaluate our levels," Healy commented earlier.

At the following one-day championship in New Zealand, Healy made 170 against England in the championship match and was awarded tournament MVP. She ensured her country would not fail again.

The question of whether this newest brilliant performance exceeded that prior achievement remains open for discussion.

Many contend the argument supporting championship match pressure. Different voices suggest with the challenge that comes when confronting a historic chase and an enthusiastic Indian fanbase of 20,000.

What's definite is this century was considerably tougher to anticipate.

She achieved fifty in 35 pitches - her swiftest at the global tournament - and her ton in 84 as she attacked short-pitched balls, striking 21 boundaries and three big hits.

By the time she was out her side needed 66 additional runs at one run per ball - an achievable target now demanding an easy conclusion.

"Chasing 330 runs is new territory so I'm pleased we have the assurance to do that now," added Healy.

"Hopefully we don't have to repeat it but, if we do, we believe we can do it."

Those words will be the ultimate thing Australia's opponents at this championship should hear.

During the last week a sense they will triumph from any situation has grown stronger - this triumph coming after win against Pakistan by 107-run victory despite struggling at 76-7 at one point.

Following this Australia face Bangladesh before a meeting with traditional opponents England in Indore in 10 days, by which point a last-four spot may probably be guaranteed.

It was at that stage they left the prior year's T20 World Cup in an unexpected loss by South Africa - a match Healy couldn't play because of ruptured tissue in her foot as she captained her nation for the initial instance at an important competition.

Such is her determination, she afterwards commented she regretted not playing despite the injury.

But while she afterwards confessed those fitness problems have delayed plans to retire, this tournament is likely to be her concluding event as leader in ODI cricket and she is yet to win an international tournament as captain.
